Welcome! We’re a family-owned and operated business passionate about creating beautiful outdoor living spaces for homeowners in the Southwest Michigan area.
We don’t do windows, doors, or siding. We do decks. We are professional deck builders who only build decks.
For more than 46 years, owner Barry Fate has built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and personal service. Over the years, he’s been joined by his daughter Meghan, forming a well-known “father-daughter” building team. His son Nicolas has also joined the team full-time, making Custom Design Group a true family affair.
